You've planned, dreamed, shopped and finally found your perfect show outfit. Your boots are the finishing touch -Because Perfection Matters. FAQ "I don't have a swatch" No worries. I realize a swatch of fabric or leather isn't always available. Here are some other options: A spool of thread Embroidery floss Paint chip from hardware store, Walmart, Home Depot, etc.
Or whatever else you can find in the color matching your outfit. Many customers choose to send their pants. Please keep in mind that whatever you send is what I will be matching your boots to so try to keep it as close to the exact color as possible for the best color match. "My boots are used." Used boots are a great economical option. THEY MUST BE CLEAN WHEN I RECEIVE THEM and they must be leather.
A good example of bad (spray painted) boots.
"Do you sell boots?" I do not sell boots therefore I have no prejudice or preference in the style of boot you choose or the price you pay. My only interest is to give you the perfect match to your outfit.
"Do boots have to be white? Any color of boot can be dyed. The only requirement is that they MUST be leather.
***CAUTION: Boots being made in China are stamped "leather" on the inside. They are not. Only the lining inside the boot was a cheap split leather.
"Can I have my new boots shipped directly to you?" * Absolutely! Boots can be directly shipped to me from whatever supplier you choose. This will save you the extra shipping costs.
***You must make sure you ship the boots to yourself c/o my address (see below) so that I know who the boots belong to.***
"What if I scuff my boots?" It happens to the best of us. Your boots will be returned with a 1 oz. jar of touch up in case you get a scuff or just want to to freshen up wear spots.
"If it's paint why do you call it dye?" Good question. The answer is, I don't know. Just a habit, I guess.
The products I use are specific to the application of leather. It applies beautifully, adheres securely and remains flexible after drying. The variety of colors are endless.
Dyes penetrate the surface of leather and are permanent but are very limited in color selection.
"How long do I have to wait for my boots?" It depends on my work load at the time. Please contact me to discuss your needs. Orders with a deadline of less than 2 weeks will be charged a $20 rush order fee.
